Yellow is a management consulting firm that is passionate about delivering projects for purpose.
Yellow was founded in 2011 to provide excellence in project management. The approach was simple: brilliant people in a healthy team culture executing project fundamentals to deliver outcomes that were best for the project and the community.
At that time, Queensland was responding to the worst disaster events in the State’s history. Yellow supported the recovery effort and contributed to the State’s successful delivery of the $14B reconstruction program for Queensland communities – on time and under budget.
Yellow has since had the opportunity to work on more than 100 disaster and drought events in response, recovery, resilience and community projects at the local, state and national level that contribute positive social, built, transport, economic and environmental outcomes for the communities in which we work. In 2022, Yellow was awarded the Queensland and National Project of the Year by the Australian Institute of Project Management for its role in coordinating the Regional Drought Resilience Planning project in Queensland.
Yellow has offices in Brisbane, Canberra and Lismore, and with more than a dozen project experts around the country, we have experienced professionals available to provide a range of project services, including project management, change management, stakeholder engagement, community consultation, communications, scheduling, data analysis, finance, geospatial, engineering, graphic design and DRFA advice. Yellow is proud to give back to communities in which we work, offering discounted or pro bono services for humanitarian causes, as well as sponsoring initiatives in regional communities, such as Wujal Wujal, Scenic Rim and Western Downs.
Yellow’s Owner and Managing Director, Ben Norling, is proud to live in Tamborine Village and contribute to projects on the mountain, in the Scenic Rim and on the Gold Coast. In 2025, Yellow was proud to partner (in kind) with the Tamborine Mountain Sports Association (TMSA), the Ipswich and West Moreton Regional Development Authority (RDA) and Scenic Rim Regional Council to coordinate a funding bid for the Long Road Complex.
