Exhibiting high quality contemporary art by Australian artists and a diverse range of books, Under The Greenwood Tree is a haven for discerning art and book lovers and a hub of conversation about both. With a dedicated small gallery at the shop, new exhibitions open every four weeks providing a venue for Australian artists to display and share their work in intimate surroundings.
The bookshop carries a broad selection of fiction, from the Classics to award winners and the latest new releases, which arrive on a weekly basis. The variety of non-fiction writing is extensive with subjects ranging from the latest health research to Australian and world history, military history, natural history, philosophy, poetry and science, while the biography and memoir section provides insights into many lives and epochs.
