Beaudesert Meals on Wheels is a community service which is supported by funding from the Australian Government under the Commonwealth Home Support Programme and the Queensland Government Depart of Communities. The Commonwealth Government supports people aged 65 years and older with the State Government assisting those younger than 65 years of age. For Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people the age of 50 years applies.
As a not-for-profit organisation, we rely upon the ongoing generosity and commitment of volunteers to devote their time to deliver meals to our clients.
Beaudesert Meals on Wheels helps frail, older people and younger people with a disability and their carers by providing meal packages at a small cost. We can also offer meals to people who require short-term, post-hospital support.
Meals are delivered each Monday, Wednesday and Friday (excluding public holidays) with additional frozen meals available for the other days.
