This past year has been a remarkable journey for our team. In our very first year entering industry awards, we became finalists in every single category we entered an extraordinary achievement for a growing local business. Edge Hairdressing was honoured across seven prestigious award programs, including the Scenic Rim and Gold Coast Local Business Awards, the AHIA Awards, and the Women’s Championship of 2025. As a certified Sustainable Salon, we recycle over 99.5% of our waste, from hair trimmings and foil to product packaging. We take great pride in ensuring that our environmental footprint is as minimal as possible. Through our partnership with Kiwi Harvest and OzHarvest, we also help provide meals to those in need — including two meals a day for the homeless turning our sustainability efforts into tangible community impact.
Education is at the heart of everything we do. We are deeply passionate about inspiring and supporting the next generation of stylists. Our team regularly hosts school workshops, career expos, and hands-on training programs that teach young people essential skills, from hairdressing techniques to confidence building and professional presentation. Several apprentices have already begun their careers under our mentorship, and in 2026, we’ll be expanding our education program with new training opportunities designed to empower and uplift aspiring stylists.
